This is the 6th year this event has taken place. We have been fortunate that in previous years Coach Alford and his wife Tanya have placed the focus on Camp Enchantment. This year Coach Alford is no longer coaching UNM; however, we could not have been more thankful to have had him as our coach these past years and for all of the love and dedication that he poured into Camp Enchantment. For that we are all enternally grateful. Even though he could not attend the Gala, Coach Alford and his wife, sold all of their Lobo gear and donated all of the proceeds to Camp Enchantment!
The Gala was out at the Hyatt Tamaya Resort and Spa, it was beautiful. The committee did such a wonderful job organizing the event. The special parts of the night are that Cesar's parents, Carolina and Rogelio were able to join us at the event. Cesar was such an important part of all of our lives and those at Camp Enchantment, it was honor to have them be there with us. Also, Tito Estrada got on stage to give his inspiring cancer story. He did a beautiful job and all of us could not have been more proud of him.
